With over 12 years’ experience in the music industry ranging from playing gigs, composing, teaching, and a Bachelor of Popular music & Performance under her belt Hayley specialises in teaching kids & teens. Hayley teaches a variety of instruments including the piano, guitar, drums & ukulele! She believes that learning music instils confidence and creativity in children and that learning should be a fun & valuable experience.
Andy is a classically trained pianist foremost but for the last half a decade has been exploring music, sounds and instruments. Taking on the challenge to learn anything put in front of him Andy has picked up and learnt saxophone, trombone, trumpet, cello, bass, guitar, drums, and flute, not to mention picking up his Bachelor of Contemporary Performance along the way! Lessons with Andy are always fun and educational.
Koya has been playing flute for 10 years and studied music theory reaching grade five at the Conservatorium. He also plays guitar, piano and vocals. He is the lead guitarist and vocalist in band Lume Etiquette. Koya loves imparting his music knowledge with his students and inspiring young musicians.
Andrew has been playing Drums for the past 10 years, as well as guitar and piano. He is a member of two bands and an HSC music accompanist. A highly sought after teacher, Andrew enjoys all genres of music but has a particular soft spot for Alternative Rock, Folk and Soul music! Andrew is passionate about teaching and sharing knowledge with his students in hopes of inspiring them to grow as independent musicians with a wide vocabulary!
Carley has been teaching for 10 years, mastering piano for 25, and flute for 5 years in between. With mixed disciplines playing with bands, choirs and soloists, she loves music theory and has taught the AMEB syllabus. Carley is classically trained and can play and teach various styles. She specialises in teaching younger children, but enjoys teaching students of all ages. Carley believes in extending a child’s skill whilst allowing them to have fun and success. She knows every student is unique, and aims to provide a fun and engaging experience.
Ben has over twelve years experience as a multi-instrumentalist playing the guitar, ukulele, drums, bass and piano. His talent has been seen live in various bands locally as well as in the studio on many recordings. Ben also divides his time between a music production studio in the city recording and mixing bands. He also has 3 years of experience working in the childcare industry. Ben is passionate about teaching music to all individuals at any age or skill level and having a wide background in the music industry, he is able to uniquely tailor lessons to best suit the needs of the musician.

How cool is this! Certainly beats the musical instruments we used to make when we were kids which consisted of a tissue box and rubber bands!
Another great reason for your kids to learn music! Research has shown children that learn music and how to keep a beat have better language and reading skills.
