Joanna has been playing instruments since she started school. The Cello, Trumpet, Ukulele, you name it! However it wasn't until she was 12 when she found her groove with Guitar, coincidently it was also when she started to discover her passion for writing and composing music. Joanna states that "writing and playing music is such a powerful way to convey emotion".

Currently Joanna studies songwriting at JMC Academy after completing two years of an education major at Macquarie University. She has completed Grade 5 of the Rock AMEB Syllabus on Guitar and achieved a 94 in HSC Music 1.
