Thomas has been playing for over 10 years and started on the Trumpet, his favourite instrument! Over time, his passion and love of music grew, as did his instrument collection and the ability to play them. With music a big part of Thomas' life, one of the best parts (besides playing) is the opportunity it creates for him to meet and become friends with a range of people he may not have met if it wasn't for music. It has also allowed him to travel and play/conduct in different environments and locations.

Thomas has played in Sydney Youth Orchestras for approx. four years and also plays and conducts in many Concert Bands across Regional NSW.

A quote that resonates with Thomas was from a story his French Horn tutor recited to him. His tutor spoke of a time he played an orchestra in Singapore; he did not speak a word of the language, but he understood the Conductor and music they were playing - because music is a universal language.

Fun Fact - Thomas used to swim in representative swimming on a State level throughout High School!
